Sporty, luxurious and incredibly comfy! This is how we summarize the new Carey JR Jacket, a padded ski jacket in a slightly tailored fit for girls. Perfect for both ski holidays and a long active winter spending time outdoors when you want a stylish and versatile piece of outerwear. Efficiently warming synthetic Thermolite® EcoMade insulation with a soft "down touch" feel provides both superb comfort and lightness. The jacket's outer fabric is wind and water-repellent polyamide and the slightly stretchy contrast panels are made of 100% recycled polyester. The soft inner lining is dyed with an environmentally friendly e.dye process where no water is needed unlike traditional dyeing. The jacket is not fully taped in its construction, but the exposed areas hood, shoulders and back yoke have a completely waterproof fabric, which provides sufficient protection for normal conditions.
In the design, we always create smart functions for flexibility and storage: Removable hood that is also adjustable with drawstrings (drawstrings are not featured on sizes 120-130 for safety reasons). Adjustable sleeve ends with velcro straps for a comfortable fit and protection against moisture and wind. The waist snowgaiter ensures the body is kept dry from incoming snow even when skiing in powder. The jacket has two outer pockets with soft lining, an inner accessory pocket in stretchy mesh and of course a ski pass pocket placed on the sleeve. Stylish and simple profiling with our metal "8" on the chest and a logo embroidered tone-in-tone on the sleeve end strap.
