08-16.08.2026 Rocklette

Rock and Raclette at the Mountain Summit!
At the summit of the mountains, at the center of the world, the Val de Bagnes and its natural settings welcome the finest in rock music and the gold of the Alps in sumptuous surroundings, accessible only by hiking, biking, cable car, or bus. The Rocklette—a legend in its own right.

Rocklette Pass 2026—Holiday Rates! Limited availability.

This Pass grants access to the entire Rocklette festival—a week of rock music at the summit of the Val de Bagnes mountains (Goly, Brunet, and Lein)—from August 8 to 16, 2026. Transportation is included in the Pass (shuttles/cable cars). Drinks and raclette meals are not included.

13-16.08.2026 Verbier Bike Festival

The Verbier Bike Festival is a major cycling celebration that attracts both thrill-seekers and families looking to enjoy the great outdoors.
The event combines scenic rides, local food and wine tastings, and opportunities to meet local residents. It’s a different way to experience the mountains, blending sports, culture, and a friendly atmosphere.

Whether you come to test the latest models from major brands or simply explore the marked trails of the Val de Bagnes, there’s something for everyone. The routes on offer let you discover little-known corners of the valley. For the more adventurous, daily challenges add excitement to the experience: speed, orienteering, and endurance events.

Beyond the sporting activities, the festival highlights local cuisine. The flagship event, the Rando Gourmande, is the best example of this. This bike ride, punctuated by gourmet stops at local restaurants, invites participants to discover regional specialties as they ride. Alpine cheeses, artisanal charcuterie, and Valais wines: cycling becomes an excuse for a tasting tour. You can also explore the Discovery Trail and the lively Event Village.

The beating heart of the festival remains its village. Several exhibitors—including most major bike brands—showcase their latest innovations. Thanks to bike test sessions, you can try out many different models right there. The festival also welcomes families, with activities for children as well as musical entertainment.

Registration is open until the day of the event. You can bring your own bike or rent one on-site.

21-22.08.2026 Grand Raid BCVS

The Grand Raid BCVS, the Swiss Mountain Bike Marathon, has been thrilling riders since 1990. This marathon will take you from Verbier to Grimentz, covering 125 km and featuring the legendary Pas de Lona pass.
We look forward to seeing you at the 36th edition! It is recognized as one of the most challenging high-mountain mountain bike races. Set in the heart of the Valais Alps, in an alpine playground, the course winds through various valleys, culminating at the Pas de Lona, at an altitude of over 2,700 meters.

22.08.2026 Territoire inharmonique

A sound performance by artist Christophe Burgess, featuring *Carillon Sauvage*, in which the traditional art of the carillonneur engages in a dialogue with the wolves of the valley. An Alpine ritual designed to make the non-human territory resonate to the sound of sirens and bells.
Christophe Burgess is a director and actor whose work focuses primarily on the development of the Alpine region. After completing his theater training at the Haute École des Teintureries in Lausanne, he pursued a master’s degree at EDHEA in Sierre (Valais School of Design and Higher School of Art), where he began numerous experiments with the sound of bells. Since 2025, he has been an active member of the Association of Valais Carillonneurs and serves as the official carillonneur of the Martigny bell tower.

“Carillon Sauvage” is a sound performance using a sculptural machine that reproduces the traditional playing style of Valais carillonneurs. The instrument faithfully simulates the carillon of the Martigny bell tower. This unique instrument allows for performance outside the bell tower and enables the live exploration and transformation of sound. The performance contributes to the development of the new “Alpine Punk” narrative framework, a subgenre of science fiction that highlights the social, environmental, and spiritual concerns of the inhabitants of the Alps.

22.08.2026 La montée de la bec

This race will connect the village of Levron to the base of the iconic Pierre Avoi peak, locally known as “La Bec.” The 7.1-kilometer course, with 1,043 meters of elevation gain, is designed for mountain enthusiasts and those who love a challenge.

A must-attend event on the Swiss calendar, the Tour des Stations takes you from resort to resort through breathtaking scenery, with an elevation gain per kilometer that is simply extraordinary.
With its various race formats, the Tour des Stations appeals to seasoned climbers as well as enthusiasts seeking a personal challenge.
