An event combining banked slalom and slopestyle! Being fast isn’t enough to make it onto the podium. The course through the snowpark is specially designed with a few additional obstacles to overcome. The park will be reshaped for the occasion, so get ready for a few surprises! Tricks will be judged, and up to 3 seconds may be deducted from the total time per section. Style, difficulty, and the height/length of the tricks will be evaluated. Each participant will have 2 runs, and the best one will count. The focus is clearly on fun and a relaxed competition atmosphere. Whether you’re young or not so young, a beginner or a pro, everyone is welcome at this event. |

Guided tour of the exhibition Présences by Mélanie Hugon-Duc, museum director, and Mélanie Roh, museum curator. The exhibition tackles the subject of the wolf by exploring the centuries-old and contemporary relationships between wolves and humans in the Valais region, and more broadly in the Alps. Reflecting the perception of Alpine residents, herders, or shepherdesses, for whom the presence of this now-protected predator feels “too close,” the museum itself becomes a home. Wolves have entered it. The tension between the domestic and the wild emerges within familiar living spaces: a living room illustrating human-wolf cohabitation over time, a garden where dogs and wolves play with the concept of evolution, and rooms exploring attachment, predation, and transformation. It is a path where wolves from bestiaries—taxidermied, in thermal images, or as plush toys—come together as multiple presences, watching over a lupine world connected to the human world. |
