28.08.2026 Starlit Walk

A magical, timeless tour of your region on Friday, August 28, 2026
New year, new location—as is the tradition!
This year, our storytelling walk will take place in the village of Fionnay. And since you don’t change a winning team, the format remains the same: you’ll be guided in small groups through the village to discover its most characteristic spots. At each stop, you’ll be able to escape into a story, carefully selected by our storytellers. At the end of the walk, a light appetizer will be served at Le Mazot restaurant.

Practical information:

- Location: exploring the village of Fionnay. Meet in front of Le Mazot restaurant. The event takes place rain or shine; please bring an umbrella in case of bad weather, as well as sturdy shoes (one of the routes will take you through the woods).

- Start time: 7:30 p.m.

- Storytellers: Valérie Pellaud, Catherine Beysard, Aline Gardaz De Luca

- A free event open to everyone (recommended for ages 7 and up for better understanding)

- Registration requested at +41 27 777 11 19 or via email at biblio@valdebagnes.ch. Please specify the number of participants and whether you are registering for both the storytelling AND the dinner, or just the storytelling

- Organized by: Bagnes Library in partnership with CREPA

- Parking: There are several options available: the Fionnay parking lot (Route de Mauvoisin 445, 1948 Fionnay) / along Route de Mauvoisin before the bridge (about 20 spaces) / the parking lot on the left after the bridge along Route Revers de Fionnay (about 15 spaces). Although these three options are available, we recommend carpooling whenever possible.

The entire team at the Bagnes Library looks forward to welcoming many of you to this timeless experience.
