Five freeride competitions in Bruson, including two reserved for women.
Bruson Freeride Week comprises a series of four Freeride World Tour sanctioned events taking place over the course of a week. These events count towards the official FWT world rankings and attract national and international athletes.

Mountain biking on snow, free for an entire afternoon, followed by drinks and tapas on the terrace at Savoleyres and a final descent at sunset on the ski slopes!
No races here, except the one you'll be competing in against your friends! ;) You ride at your own pace, with whoever you want, and you can do as many runs as you like...

The 10 km toboggan run in La Tzoumaz, 6 m wide, is specially prepared for this day and reserved for you. After a tiring day, enjoy a delicious aperitif/tapas on the terrace of the Savoleyres restaurant at 2,354 metres, before the final descent at sunset back to La Tzoumaz or Verbier via the ski slopes!

In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to Friday 30 January 2026.

Organization of the Men's European Downhill and Super-G Championships from January 26 to 30.
Competitive alpine skiing is very popular in our region. No fewer than six ski clubs regularly practice this sport in our ski area, which is equipped with three training stadiums. In addition, our region has produced many champions, and not just minor ones. What's more, the promising next generation will help to perpetuate the reputation of our destination and our canton.

In 2024, following the 2023 Swiss Championships, two men's European Cup downhill races and one super-G race will be organized with the aim of one day hosting major alpine skiing competitions. These events also give our local competitors the opportunity to showcase their talents, much to the delight of residents and visitors to our region. That is why we will once again be hosting the men's European Cup downhill and super-G races from January 26 to 31.
This initiative is also in line with the municipality of Val de Bagnes' support for the sport.
