22 August to 23 August Tour des Stations

No matter how long the challenge or how long the route, the Tour des Stations promises to connect exceptional resorts in a spectacular setting with an extraordinary ‘elevation gain per kilometre’!
DIFFERENT CHALLENGES, SAME EMOTIONS

Regardless of the duration of the challenge and the length of the route chosen, the Tour des Stations promises to connect exceptional resorts in a spectacular setting with an extraordinary ‘elevation gain per kilometre’!
The event stands out by offering a challenge that is unique in the world: ‘To measure yourself against the elevation of Everest in a single day’. However, everyone has the choice to climb ‘their summit’ from among the four routes on offer, with, as with any climb, thrills guaranteed at the start and tears of joy at the finish.

Sunday 24 August Forcethon Verbier

Come run or walk in a relaxed atmosphere to support childhood cancer research.
In 2012, to mark its 20th anniversary, FORCE created two annual sporting events – in Verbier and Lausanne Chalet-à-Gobet – allowing a wide audience to support childhood cancer research by taking part in a sporting or leisure activity.

Open to elite and amateur athletes, families and children, runners, walkers and Nordic walkers, these events are also designed to be moments of sharing and conviviality.

In addition to the classic 8 km course with a 1,000-metre elevation gain, we also offer a ‘fun’ race around the summit of Savoleyres, covering a distance of 4 km with a 200-metre elevation gain.

A pasta party will welcome all the brave athletes in Savoleyres. Téléverbier will provide transport back to the resort for those who wish to use it. Accompanying persons who do not wish to walk up or down can also use the ski lifts.

Categories: women, men, girls up to 16 years old, boys up to 16 years old.

Come and run or walk in a relaxed atmosphere to support research into childhood cancer.

Saturday 6th of September Vernissage : Cannupa Hanska Luger

The Verbier 3-D Foundation is proud to unveil a new site-specific work by this year’s artist-in-residence, Cannupa Hanska Luger, displayed in the sculpture park.
The Verbier 3-D Foundation is proud to unveil a new in situ work by this year’s artist-in-residence, Cannupa Hanska Luger, displayed in the sculpture park.

During his six-week residency in the alpine village of Verbier, Luger immersed himself in the landscape and the Bagnes community, using his multidisciplinary practice to explore the complex relationships between people and places. His time in Verbier served as a space for reflection on ecological awareness, cultural heritage, and community responsibility.

Drawing on Indigenous knowledge systems and material histories, Luger’s new work engages with the region’s unique environmental heritage and the evolving relationship with the land and its resources. By weaving connections between local and global narratives, the artist invites us to imagine a future shaped by deeper connections, responsibility, and collective courage.

Schedule
10:30 – Meet at Médran in Verbier (please bring your ski pass)
11:15 – Walk to the sculpture site, followed by a brief presentation by the artist
11:30 – Drinks and informal gathering
